Meeting of the State Security Council of Turkmenistan

Today, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a regular meeting of the State Security Council, at which the results of the activities of the military and law enforcement agencies for the nine months of this year were summed up, priority tasks were identified related to ensuring security and tranquility in the independent Turkmen state, strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies, the organization of their work in accordance with the realities of the time.

The first to speak was Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defense B. Gundogdyev, who reported on the practical steps taken in January-September aimed at improving the activities of subordinate structures, the implementation of the Armed Forces Development Program for 2022-2028. A report was also made on the preparation for military training and tactical events, on the organization of the work of the Ground, Air Force and Naval Forces in accordance with the requirements of the time.

Prosecutor General S. Myalikgulyev reported on the work carried out since the beginning of this year, the results of inspections carried out in individual structures, measures taken to introduce a digital system and improve the professionalism of employees.

Further, the Minister of Internal Affairs M. Khydyrov reported on the comprehensive steps taken in the reporting structures in the nine months of this year to ensure public order, prevent offenses, and organize the activities of the Fire Safety Service in accordance with the requirements of the time. There was also a report on the results of the month "Road safety - the peace of our lives", held within the framework of the events.

The Chairman of the Supreme Court G. Ussanepesov reported on the results of the activity of the subordinate body for January-September, the progress of the legal reform, the implemented measures for the further development of the judicial system.

Minister of National Security G. Annaev, who then spoke, reported on the work carried out during the period under review, on the fulfillment of instructions previously given by the head of state, on the progress of improving the activities of the headed body.

Further, the head of the State Border Service, Ya. Nuryev, reported on the practical steps taken in January-September to ensure the protection of the borders of the Motherland, improve the conditions of service and life of military personnel, and strengthen the material and technical base of the supervised department.

Then, Minister Adalat M. Taganov reported on the results of the activities carried out since the beginning of the year to bring the national legislative framework in line with the realities of the time, introduce a digital system in structural divisions, and organize events to improve the legal literacy of the population.

The Chairman of the State Customs Service M. Hudaykulyev reported on the results of the work done over the three quarters of this year in the context of the instructions and instructions previously given by the head of Turkmenistan, the practical steps being taken to implement the Development Program of the reporting agency for 2022-2028.

Further, the Chairman of the State Migration Service N. Atagarayev reported on the measures taken during the reporting period to improve the activities of the structure headed, to increase the professionalism of employees.

Summing up the reports, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country noted the importance of coordinated activities of military and law enforcement agencies in order to successfully solve the tasks of the defensive Military Doctrine of independent neutral Turkmenistan, ensure the protection of the constitutional order and territorial integrity of the state, peace and tranquility in society. It is necessary to continue the modernization of all branches of the National Army and law enforcement agencies through the widespread introduction of advanced world experience and modern technologies, as well as the training of qualified specialists, the head of state emphasized.

Particular emphasis was placed on the need to organize educational work among young soldiers and cadets based on the military traditions of the Turkmen people, as well as in the spirit of boundless love for the Motherland.

At the same time, instructions were given to strengthen prosecutorial checks on the impeccable implementation of legal acts by state authorities, local executive authorities and self-government, institutions, and public associations.

The Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country emphasized the importance of strict control over the maintenance of law and order, compliance with fire safety rules, optimization of traffic flow on the highways of the capital and velayats.

Focusing on the fact that one of the main requirements is the proper implementation of decisions made in the country, the head of Turkmenistan focused on the importance of active implementation of best practices in the activities of law enforcement agencies.
